On-premises implementation and evidence

Comprehensive system monitoring

Implementation steps

  1. Deploy a SIEM collecting logs from all servers, workstations, network devices, and security appliances
  2. Implement network IDS/IPS at key network boundaries and internal segments to detect attack signatures and anomalies
  3. Configure alerts for unauthorized access attempts, unusual traffic patterns, and known indicators of compromise
  4. Review monitoring data and alerts at defined intervals; investigate and document all anomalies and incidents
