Implementation steps

  1. Create a mobile code policy defining acceptable technologies, requirements for signing, and prohibited code types
  2. Configure Group Policy to restrict macro execution, ActiveX controls, and unsigned scripts on all endpoints
  3. Implement web proxy or content gateway to filter and block prohibited mobile code from websites
  4. Monitor endpoint logs for unauthorized script or mobile code execution and investigate anomalies
