Implementation steps

  1. Develop role-specific IR training curriculum for each designated role covering tools, procedures, communication, and escalation
  2. Deliver training to new IR team members before they take on-call responsibilities
  3. Schedule annual refresher training sessions; use tabletop exercises as supplemental practical training
  4. Update training materials after significant incidents, system changes, or process improvements
