Implementation steps

  1. Train web content publishers and IT staff on prohibited information types with documented acknowledgement
  2. Schedule quarterly reviews of all publicly accessible content including web servers, FTP servers, and DNS records
  3. Implement web application firewall rules to block responses containing sensitive data patterns
  4. Document the review process and findings, including any remediation actions taken
